The comfy stools and quirky seating arrangements only add to the laid-back ambiance where you can truly lose track of time.

When it comes to the menu, Basta Cafe shines with its enticing selection of drinks and comfort food. For those keen on trying something refreshing, behold the delightful Mama Mo Pink—a fizzy yogurt creation that marries the sweetness of sakura and raspberry syrup with dried strawberry bits, all for just ₱200.00. If you’re in the mood for something a little richer, the Oval TRex offers an indulgent experience with premium Swiss chocolate and vanilla cream, also priced at ₱200.00.

The savory side of the menu doesn't fall short either, featuring the crowd-favorite UNPC Ultimate Nakaluwagluwag Pancit Canton—a generous serving suitable for two hungry patrons (or one if you're feeling quite peckish). It’s a delightful mix featuring sausages like spam, crunchy kimchi, and a hardboiled egg, all topped with savory nori, making every bite a nostalgic journey into Filipino comfort food, priced at just ₱300.00.

And let’s not forget to spice up your meal with some extras—try the Roasted Garlic Extra Dip at ₱40.00 or a simple Extra Rice for those carb lovers, priced at ₱40.00. These little additions make a remarkable difference in enhancing your overall dining experience.

But don’t just take our word for it; the patrons of Basta Cafe rave about their experiences. As one dedicated regular, Christine shares, “I visit this cafe so often it's like I live in front of it.” Her favorites, the karaage and burnt miso latte, highlight the consistent quality and creativity that defines Basta Cafe.

Another customer, Mary Grace Enaje, recalls her delightful first visit, reveling in the anticipation outside and the warmth that enveloped her upon entering, citing the cafe's chill vibes and enjoyable background playlist. It is no wonder that Faith Dumaligan describes it as “a cozy cafe for good conversations,” where the simple yet delicious offerings create a feeling of comfort and community.

Even as a regular AWKP listener, I’m not being biased when I say I LOVE the concept of Basta Cafe. My friend, who isn’t familiar with the podcast, also complimented how unique the drinks and food were — so that says a lot! The interior has a charming neighbourhood cafe vibe, with funny decor full of inside jokes. Bonus points for the smol girl-friendly stools — and shoutout to the mirror that made me feel like I was 5’4” for a moment. Haha! We tried: - Olsen’s Drink (special drink) - Burnt Matcha Latte - Interracial Rice Bowl — a playful mix of Greek and Filipino flavours - Fries with Aburi, Garlic and Tomato Pepper dips - Karaage (air-fried) It was my first time trying the Burnt Miso Latte, so I didn’t know what to expect, but it turned out to be a solid cup of coffee. The Interracial RICE Bowl (Longganisa with Aioli combo)? Loved it! The menu is on the pricier side, especially for food, but that’s pretty standard for cafes. That said, the rice bowl’s serving size was just right for me. The baristas were super kind and accommodating despite being busy prepping drinks. The wait time was a bit long, but they’re still in their soft opening phase, so that’s understandable. I’d definitely love to visit again! It was also great to see Direk Tonet and Direk JP handling the cashier — they were so warm and welcoming despite juggling a lot. Parking Tip: Street parking only (free of charge), but be mindful not to block any gates. Hopefully I can visit again on a weekday because it’s fully packed during the weekend

Early birds kami ng aking older sis today. Arrived 4 minutes before opening kasi excited kami, umawra muna kami sa labas while waiting. Happy to be first customers at the cafe for the day. Loved the vibes and food (happy na finally nakita ko na din in person ang cafe plus ung naka hang na red panty ) . Chill and relaxed and vibes sa cafe, loved the playlist on the background and we enjoyed the Honey Batungbakal, Apple Espresso plus Sansrival Cravings satisfied for the day. We will try the other food options next time!

Basta Cafe is recently my go-to cafe. I've been here like 7x now. Barista and owners are friendly and accomodating. I can be so introvert in this place. I love the BastaMayGanap, 2 ganaps na for me. Apple Espresso and Long Black are my usuals and Interracial for lunch.

I visit this cafe so often it's like I live in front of it. There's more variety in the drinks than food, but I don't mind since I never get tired of the food. The drinks are delicious and are the right amount of sweetness. I try new ones every visit and am never disappointed. My personal favorite menu items are the karaage, Oval T-Rex, fries and burnt miso latte. I'm very thankful for a community cafe like Basta Cafe. I've been a listener of the director owners' podcast for a few years, but the cafe also has events (like lectures over coffee, movie viewings, and drag brunches) that even non-listeners will enjoy. I guarantee that a Filipino pop culture enjoyer will get their fill here. The staff are also very friendly and welcoming to customers. I really appreciate the community the cafe continues to build. Definitely worth a visit, whether you come by during an event or on a quiet, regular day. (Nag-English po muna ako kasi baka may foreigners na gusto bumisita ng cafe someday. Uyyyyy)

A cozy cafe for good conversations. The food and drinks are simple but just enough—but really, it’s the vibe that makes you stay. It feels warm, a little funny, and just the kind of place where you can talk about anything and lose track of time.

First time visiting here and loved everything about it! The concept is very kuwela/amusing and I love the overall thought put into all their decor and even menu items+descriptions :) Their music playlist is quite good too lol (from charli xcx, lorde, chappell roan, etc.) Service was superb as well, the cashier was very friendly and accommodating when I asked for recommendations as it is my first time, they are also proactive—adjusting seats when needed and assisting with bringing food to the tables. The highlight for me was trying their Burnt Miso Latte (as recommended), nakakaiba siya/it has a uniquely delicious flavor without being overbearing. Highly recommend at sana sumakses pa sila Cozy little place, will definitely be back! :)
